KBA Lampung consolidated from two organizations namely Lembaga Pemerhati Anak dan Masyarakat (LPAMAS) and Lembaga Dana Atmaja (LDA).
Program focus of KBA Lampung are mentoring and strengthening of children rights and community development through its project implemented by Dana Atmaja, Bina Lestari, Kinasih, Siwi Waluyo Jaya and Vincentius. KBA Lampung was formed based on commitment among the members in order to ensure quality improvement program, to adapt Child fund’s policy, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of program implementation and materialize the achievement of tangible impact on the work of programs and institutions.
KBA Lampung founded with the spirit and commited to the fulfillment of fundamental rights of children. It is officially established on 14 July 2010 authorized with the notary letter No.14 dated August 26,2010.
Vision: to unite the movement of children right in order to further social welfare and right based approach with specific focus on children right issues.
Mission:
• To strengthen participation of children and society for fulfilling children right, economic and human resource development.
• To build cooperation and networking of civil society to fulfill the children's rights as detail describe ed in the program design document
• To support local government in handling social problems, with specific focus on children;
• To carry out advocacy activities for children right.
• To enhance community capacity in improving social welfare.
Total coverage areas of KBA Lampung is 14 villages spread out in three districts as follows: 5 Villages (Trimulyo, Sidomukti, Wawasan, Malangsari, purwotani)administratively under South Lampung Regency, 3 Villages (Donomulyo, Gunung Agung, Sindang Anom) under East Lampung and 6 Villages (Karangsari, Wayngison, Mataram, Kediri, Sukoharjo2, Panggung Rejo)under Pringsewu. Data on September 2010 shows,total of sponsored children / Available: 1770, and total quota is 3338.
In implementing the programs, KBA Lampung has a strong partnership with technical agency in provincial as well as in regency level such as social Services sectors, Education sectors, women's empowerment sectors, health office, health services center, Kesbanglinmas, Lembaga Perlindungan Anak (LPA), Lembaga Advokasi Anak (LADA),Advokasi Anak dan Perempuan (DAMAR), Integrated Pest Management Farmers' Association of Indonesia (IPPHTI),and also with HIFER International Indonesia.
